I am beyond excited to announce the launch of FullyEquipped, a non-profit organization based in Akron, OH.
From intercepting passes at St. Vincent-St. Mary to tackling running backs at Indiana University, I was fortunate enough to never have to worry about having access to proper sports equipment or academic services during my football career.
After seeing the clear needs of various teams and schools in the community, I didn’t want others to have to worry about having access to the proper resources or services either, but I also truly believe that life about so much more than having the right equipment and services. The lessons, experiences, and values I learned during my time as a student and as an athlete proved to be far more valuable.
At FullyEquipped we believe that all young men and women should have the necessary tools they need to grow, compete and succeed in the classroom, extracurricular activities, and life. Our mission is to provide equipment and services to local schools who are unable to provide these fundamental resources. In addition to equipment and services, we partner with schools to share valuable lessons, tools and life skills. FullyEquipped aims to make a difference in the lives of the young men and women we equip and serve.
For our pilot program, we will be proudly partnering with the Akron North High School Football Team for the 2017 season. We look forward to what the year has in store and we would love your support.
