Recently it was brought to our team’s attention that the Buchtel High School wrestling team does not receive a budget because they are the only Akron city school with a wrestling team. This year Buchtel had more wrestlers come out for the team than usual. Between the junior high and high school teams, nearly ten kids were wrestling in socks at practice and several kids were sharing headgear. In order to fulfill the need, we were looking to provide wrestling headgear and wrestling shoes for the team.
Thanks to the generousity of the D.A.L.E. (Discipline Athletics Leadership Education) program we were able to make that possible! The D.A.L.E Program’s mission is to help empower youth through discipline, athletics, leadership, and education. FullyEquipped is proud to partner with such a mission!
